It's been a busy year! We've had some fun-filled Parent Nights Out and birthday parties! In between all the making we've been busy around the city... EdExchange participation with The Thinkery, Austin Family Magazine's Summer Camp Fair, and Round Rock's Enrichment Fair.
As we prepare for our Summer Camps for 2017, we'v been reflecting on last year's successes. Parents and campers were happy to be part of our makerspace movement! So many great projects were created... faerie houses out of twigs, leaves, and nuts; superhero capes put together with a sewing machine, imagination and all kinds of materials; stop motion videos; comics based on favorite reads; automata; and more!
Now we're ready for Summer 2017! Our first session is already full but we still have space for a few more mini-makers in session 2!
Until then you can visit us at SxCreate over Spring Break and this year's Maker Faire! ...dates and times coming soon!
